1 - Computer slow
Windows based systems will become slower on due course of time. Clearing the Temporary or unwanted junk files will mostly fix the problem. Below are the steps to clear temporary files.
Clearing temporary files
1. Press and hold Windows logo key and "R" at the same time. It will bring the RUN command.
2. Type %temp% and press OK
3. Select all files by pressing CTRL and “A” key and Delete all of them
4. Repeat step 1 and type C:\windows\temp and press OK and repeat step 3.
5. Download a program named CCleaner. This program will help clearing the Browser cookies, History files and other unwanted files etc.
6. Restart the system.
Disabling unwanted startup programs.
1. Open the Run dialog box by using Windows logo key and “R”
2. Type “msconfig” and press OK
3. Carefully uncheck the programs that are not required. For Eg. You don’t need some programs
that can open by yourself manually from desktop or start button. You can disable it
However please don’t disable your Antivirus programs or other required programs.

4. Restart the system.
Re-Flushing the Swap drive or Virtual memory
1. Right click on the “Start” button or windows button at the lower left hand corner of screen.
2. This will open up the system settings. Click “Advanced system settings” from the left side
3. Click on Advanced Tab
4. Click on “Settings” under Performance.
5. Then click Advance tab
6. Then click on the “Change” button below
7. Uncheck “Automatically manage paging files in all drives”
8. Click on drive letter “C” for windows.
9. Click on custom size and enter values in both top and bottom boxes. This is the Virtual memory size. The size of the virtual memory should be twice the amount of RAM installed on your system. You can make it to like Eg – 3010 first box and 3020 in second box if you have 1GB Ram
10. Then click OK and restart the system.
11. IMPORTANT – Please make sure that “No Paging file” is not clicked. If this is clicked the paging file will be disabled and system will end in some issues.
You can also Uninstall unwanted programs from your system to make it more optimized.
Open control panel then go to Program and features and remove the programs you never need.
2 - Internet Slow
First step to resolve internet slow speed is by restarting your modem and router.
Wait for few minutes and check the speed.
